I’m a die-hard fan of the Social Fabric podcasts series having listened to several conversations with Irish illustrators and food activists. When the chance to be interviewed arose I was mega chuffed! I was invited to talk about setting up Your Local food Network. To explain what inspired me to do so and how I first became interested in sustainable farming and organic food production.
Social Fabric is a fascinating series of conversations created and run by Andrea Splendori. Each week a new podcast is released featuring folk from all walks of life. They share stories of triumphs and struggles, tales of wisdom and joy. Each individual brings their own experience to the table but faith in humanity and a desire to strengthen bonds within their own communities is a common thread running throughout the series. Andrea has a knack for creating a comfortable, easy-going platform. He effortlessly unearths little nuggets of gold from his guests. It’s a pleasure to listen to the weekly chat. Well worth signing up to the series.
But enough reading. Sit back and have a listen. Here’s where you can get to know me a little better, foibles an’ all…
