Step 1:
Read through the SIMPLE FOOD PLEDGE Principles to see if you are farming or running your business in accordance with them. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Step 2:
If the principles are applicable to your working methods and ethos, first fill out the online directory listing form here and submit. These details will form your listing on the website (except the details you submit under the title – Additional Information).
Under Description: for producers- please be sure to specify where your produce can be found for sale, whether it be a retail outlet, market stall, box scheme, etc. It’s important to tell us how we can avail of your produce! For supporters- please don’t forget to add in which of our producers you are supporting.
Upload up to six good quality images* of your farm, produce, smallholding or business.
If you have difficulty with this step and would like us to help with your submission, do get in touch- you may prefer to email images at a later date.
*Please be aware that that these images will be used on your directory listing and that we may also use them on social media and for marketing purposes, solely to promote your membership and your business under the Your Local Food Network brand.
Step 3:
Upon receipt of your application we will contact you by email, within 10 working days, with a link to the SIMPLE FOOD PLEDGE form and details of how to return it. Tick any boxes on the pledge form, sign and date it.
Return completed forms.
Step 4:
When we’ve received your signed SIMPLE FOOD PLEDGE form, we will upload your listing onto the directory. This could take up to five working days. If we have any queries about your submission, we’ll be in touch.
Step 5:
We will pop your SIMPLE FOOD PLEDGE certificate in the post to you along with a sign or decal sticker to display at your place of business. We will also email you a SIMPLE FOOD PLEDGE member button to display on your website.
