Coolanowle Organics is run by owner, Jimmy Mulhall and his son Eddie, along with 3 full time butchers. The small family-run business is based on Coolanowle Organic Farm in south county Laois, close to the Carlow border. Having converted the farm to organic in 2001, the Mulhalls started selling organic meat raised on their farm at various farmers’ markets around Ireland in 2004 – check their website for market details.
A new meat production/ processing facility and meat outlet is now open to the public at Coolanowle. Deep freeze preparation for beef, lamb and pork is also available.
A number of farmers markets across Ireland are served and they also supply direct to restaurants, shops, and hotels.
