Festivals to look out for during June :
Bloom
30 May to 3 June 2019 / The Phoenix Park, Dublin / www.bloominthepark.com
The last days of May see the return of the hugely popular Bloom in the park. Bloom was launched by Bord Bia in 2007 to promote horticulture and all things garden related. The event has since been developed way beyond the remit of a traditional garden show to include a strong food and culinary presence. Food lovers can meet Ireland’s top food and beverage producers, gain an educational insight into the Irish food industry, and sample and purchase the best of Irish food and drink in the Food Village.

This year I have the pleasure of participating in the GIY Food Matters at Bloom, a series of conversations on food. On Friday 31at 1.30pm I’ll be joining a panel at the Food Matters tent to discuss “Local food, Global Impact”. If you’re in the park on Friday, find the GIY tent and pop in to say hi!
